Performed scheduled maintenance on customer's furnace system. Inspected condensate drain assembly, checked all connections and verified proper drainage. System operating within normal parameters with no issues identified.
Completed installation of 5 new supply runs to basement area with two registers per bedroom and one in open area. Installed 2 low return grilles (one per bedroom) and vented existing exhaust fan. All ductwork was properly connected to existing HVAC system with metal components secured through exposed framing, and exterior ventilation was completed with proper wall penetration and vent cover installation.
Completed fall maintenance service on furnace. Replaced existing filter with new 16x25x135 Renew filter. Visual inspection of unit in basement shows proper installation of ductwork and connections.
Completed full system replacement including installation of Lennox EL297E 45K furnace, ML13KC1 2-ton condensing unit, and 24B-71 cased coil. Reused existing Nest thermostat, 40ft lineset, and cold air drop, while adding a new 16x20x1 filter rack. Installed proper 3" PVC venting through attic, raised new concrete slab for outdoor unit, and verified system level and pressure readings to ensure optimal performance.
Installed two additional supply runs in unfinished basement area and mounted corresponding supply registers. Located optimal positioning around existing HVAC ductwork and completed installation while navigating exposed ceiling joists, PVC piping, and structural elements. Both supply registers are now properly functioning and integrated with the main duct system.
Responded to customer complaint of furnace running continuously without producing heat. Diagnostic inspection revealed failed pressure switches, preventing proper system operation. Visual inspection of furnace installation in utility closet and associated ventilation components confirmed issues. Customer was provided quotation for complete system replacement as repair was not economically viable.
Completed annual maintenance service on a 23-year-old Trane furnace under CCC Quality Plan Agreement. Inspection revealed slightly corroded burners, flame sensor spade connector, and blower motor, as well as noisy bearings in the inducer motor. System is currently operational, but customer was advised against investing in major repairs due to unit age, condition, and long-term reliability concerns.
